Ready to get Nano-ing?

It's only mid-day on October 31st, 2018 and I am itching to start working on my novel for National Novel Writing Month, or NanoWriMo.

As I can't start writing until midnight tonight for the official start of NanoWriMo, I decided to work on a quick cover design for The Witch the Wolves and the Huntsmen, the third and final novel in the Little Red Riding Hood novels, a trilogy.

Are there any authors or aspiring writers out there who will be joining in to participate this year in NanoWriMo? If so, my screen name is cassieinthetrees. Add me and we can be writing buddies this November.

I know a lot of people who are hesitant to begin with Nano, and I completely understand, I was myself the first year that I participated, but a wonderful friend talked me into it and reminded me that it doesn't matter if you finish or now, just have fun, because that's what it is all about. Having fun and cheering each other one.

Writer's do not compete against each other, no one can tell the story that you have to tell, not in the unique way that you and only you can. If you are reading this, aspiring writer, remember that. And remember, the first draft isn't the time nor the place to try to make it perfect. The first draft is just to get the story out of your head and down on paper.
